In the afternoon we leave for a trip to Bengaluru city. The joyful, soulful and colorful city is awaiting your presence, feel the pulse of the surroundings as you drive through Vidhan Soudha, the High Court, the Nandi Bull Temple, and Tipu Sultan’s Palace. Get nostalgic over this exhilarating building built by an Islamic King. Today it is converted into a museum encompassing in itself the age-old glories of Tipu Sultan and Haidar Ali. Bangalore – Hassan
In the morning you will drive to Hassan.
The afternoon is dedicated to the visit of Belur and Halebid.
Near Belur is Halebid, set amidst lush greens of rolling agricultural lands standing tall on the distant hills – this Hoysala capital of 12th and 13th century is famous for its Hoysaleswara Temple which is a pair of identical temples each having its own Shivalingam. The beauty of these temples comes alive as the prayers are done by the Maharaja’s – the temple priests – the Shlokas and Shank create an element of mysticism which no one can explain; it can only be felt. In the evening we return back to our hotel.
Hassan – Coorg
In the morning, We will drive to Coorg. The journey is so rich with memories that one hardly needs to rest.
Kodagu, also known as Coorg, is a rural district in the southwest Indian state of Karnataka. In the area’s north, Madikeri Fort has 2 life-size elephant statues at its entrance, plus a Gothic-style church with a museum on its grounds. Nearby, the Hindu Omkareshwara Temple dates back to the 19th century. Further north are the domed Raja’s Tomb, a burial place of Kodava kings, and cascading Abbi Falls.

Morning is the best time to go for bird watching. Statistics tell that nearly 25% of all bird species can be found in Coorg. After a good stroll, return back for breakfast at the hotel.
Later visit Dubare Elephant Camp, is a project undertaken by forest department and Jungle Lodges and Resorts Ltd. This camp has plenty of elephants which are trained under naturalists. A trained Naturalist is at hand to explain the various aspects of Elephant history, ecology and biology. The visitor can not only observe and learn but also participate in various activities involving Elephants. The Karnataka Forest Department has about 150 Elephants in various camps and Dubare has been historically an important camp.

Coorg – Mysore
In the morning you will drive to Mysore en-route visit Bylakuppe Tibetan Monastery. Bylakuppe Tibetan Monastery, This place has one of the largest Tibetan settlements. The monastery has many temples with Buddha statues all over. The place is very beautiful with a lot of trees and flowering plants. The temples are very neatly maintained. One can try Tibetan curries and foods here.
After we continue to drive to Mysore Rest day us free.
In the morning we leave for the city tour of Mysore. Viewing the breathtaking architecture of Mysore Palace is an experience in itself as you go past the turrets, archways, and domes of the bygone era. Later, visit the Art Gallery. We continue our day with the visit of Chamundeshwari Temple. On the way back, take the blessings of the Nandi Bull, a colossal rock figure that is said to be protecting the Mysore City.
Afternoon we visit Somnathpur where the Keshava Temple ages back to 1268 A.D; a sacred worship place build by Hoysala Kings. This star-shaped temple will take you back to the glorious past – as its architectural sculptures come alive with the stories and epics of the bygone days. Relive these memories of the hidden past.
Srirangapatna Fort in Karnataka India that Tipu finally lay dead – betrayed by one of his own men. An obelisk in the Fort marks the place where he was killed. After defeating Tipu and his folks, the British went on to loot and plunder Srirangapatna and Srirangapatna Fort (Tipu’s Palace).
We also visit the Ranganthaswamy temple in Srirangapatna which is dedicated to the Hindu god Ranganatha. It is one of the five important pilgrimage sites of Sri Vaishnavism along the river Kaveri for devotees of Ranganatha.
The afternoon is free for personal activity.
Mysore – Bangalore Airport
In the morning you will drive to Bangalore airport to board your onward flight to home.
